The ears that were not listening

有一天，兔妈妈请客。她对小猪说了一句话，并要它把话转告其他的小动物。兔妈妈对小猪说：“明天中午，我请大家吃青菜。 ”
小猪没把话听清楚，就告诉小羊：“明天中午，兔妈妈请大家吃白菜。”
小羊没把话听清楚，就告诉小鸭：“明天下午，兔妈妈请大家吃白菜。”
小鸭没把话听清楚，就告诉小鸡：“明天晚上，兔妈妈请大家喝牛奶。”
第二天中午，兔妈妈在家等了半天，都不见小动物们到她的家吃青菜。

If a child can understand the moral of this story, I don't see why an adult can fail to comprehend.
Some people hear, but they simply do not listen. Enuf said.
