i-breadie

I guess I am a Breadie.
By breadie,
I mean I eat bread, those freshly baked, well kneaded dough, aroma which lingers long after you have lifted your nose away from the loaf.


Oh well,
I can eat practically any type of loaf
With fillings,
Or plain on its on,
Or toasted ala kaya toast,
Wholemeal, light rye or honey oats,
Whatever you call it, I will eat it.
Subway, O’Briens, Ya Kun,
Gardenia, BreadTalk, Fourleaves,
Traditionally baked (aka chao tah top) spread with butter and kaya
(Oh, yes, that stall at Bugis village sells it best),
Or designer bread at more than $1.30 a piece.


Wherever you buy it,
It just tastes better.

Dude, I will frown should you take a loaf away from me.
