I will be back ?

You know, the workplace is dead quiet at 8 o’clock. You can hear a pin drop. I heard a thud and upon turning my head, got a rude shock of my life. There it was, right under my nose, a disgusting looking fat l-i-z-a-r-d. Its huge fat body wriggled to the left and to the right. It ran across its expressway, mind you, that is, from my beloved laptop bag to the desktop before disappearing among a pile of worksheets.

Yikes!

A few days ago, I had this feeling that a pair of eyes were looking at me as I typed on the laptop. Today is the day that I confirmed my instincts.


I covered my mouth in disbelief, shocked and stunned. *sob*
I covered my mouth just in time to stop the scream from exploding into the air. I ended up with a squeak instead.

Startled, lizard decided to scamper away, right across my laptop bag (*disgusting fellow*).
Its actions further robbed my day of its cheerfulness.


Lizard has this evil smiley face, yup, those disgusting grin, wide enough to spread from its right ear to its left.
I looked down at it.
It looked straight up at me.

I gasped in shock.
It is no fun to be frightened early in the morning at 8 o’clock.

If lizard could speak, it would probably be saying to me “What the f … I mean…What the fuss…?”
As it scampered away, it seemed to tilt its head back to look at me…

If lizard could speak, it would probably be saying “I …will…be…back.”



Tomorrow going back (to work), you know…**gasp**

I am afraid of lizards. It is no fun to be frightened by something that I am afraid of.
