A rare treat

A rare sight, a very rare sight indeed,

considered that this item is sold at the place where I work.

That day.... ....

....there was excited voices among the people around me...

in a hush tone, people were

"screaming" ice cream....

and soon the word spread like wild fire, uncontrollably...

now, for ice cream to be sold at my workplace

is taboo...as it is considered unhealthy snack....

...I grabbed my purse,

dropped the pile of worksheets I was holding onto the desk,

made a 100m dash to the canteen, I mean NH cafe,

with great speed,

I could almost knock down any human being

that stood between me and that ice cream

....auntie, I smiled at the vendor,

I want 2 ice cream,

peach and strawberry please.

As I received my prized catch with great excitement,

I peered curiously at the label of this sacred snack of my workplace,

what the... ...you mean you are not an ice cream?

Then what the H are you?

the Y word stared at me,

I stared back,

so, you are a yoghurt, huh?

never mind,

better than nothing to eat.

And wow, there are actually bits of strawberry,

bits of peach in the yoghurt.

At $1.00 each cup, you can be sure

you will see me running towards the canteen regularly after work.
