11 minutes

Son: Who is Mas Selamat?

Dad: He is a key figure in the terrorist network.

Son: What did he try to do?

Dad: He planned to crash a plane into Changi Airport in 2001.

Son: Where is he now?

Dad: Erm, I don't know. He escaped from the detention center.

Son: So is that a FIRST for Singapore yet again?

Dad: Kaozzz.

Son: What is our country trying to do?

Dad: We are a prime target hence cannot afford to let terrorists plant a
bomb in Singapore. To the best of our ability, we will try to prevent
such people from coming in.

Son: No wonder lah!! No emphasis on preventing such people from going
out. Get it?

Dad: Yah, you are not wrong.

Son: When I grow up, I want to be the best policeman and protect my
country. But first, I must learn to use my brains. Some people have
brains but they don't think.

Dad: What makes you think in this way?

Son: If Mas Selamat has been identified as a key figure in the terrorist
network, then why so many security lapses? Unless he is dead and
the country is trying to use a lame excuse as cover up.

Dad: You are over-imaginative. Go to bed!
