My birthday present for 2009 came early

After deciding for the past few weeks which model to get, I have finally bought myself a new handphone. Ah, yes, buying my birthday present for 2009 came early for me.

From taking it out of the box, buying a screen protector, charging it overnight to finally getting “hooked” ( hooked onto the net, of cos),
I am embarking on a journey of discovering what miracles my handphone can peform.

It is the process of getting “there” that is exciting, an awesome experience, indeed.
I found out that hands-on is really thrilling... ... errr ... ...Did I say that I enjoy hands-on activities... ...?

... ...all those moments of head down, shoulders in, elbows bent, fingers clicking and eyes glued to the screen, are strangely addictive.

I am not tech-savvy. But the idea of upgrading my knowledge, skills, whatever it is called, is enjoyable. Information overload, but I am not complaining. It is always good to keep up with technology.

However, it is frustrating because some parts of the instructions are Greek to me. It is like stepping onto unknown grounds with my eyes closed, I followed each step on the instruction booklet cautiously, always trying to remember the previous key I entered.

I found out that my handphone is Wi-Fi equipped, which means that I am able to surf the internet wherever I wish, on the condition that I am in a Wi-Fi hotspot, be it Macdonalds, the National Library, etc.

The customer representative who served me introduced a package to me, which, upon signing up, I would be able to surf anywhere, anytime, just by paying a minimum sum per month. I am considering this offer and promised to get back to him.

I am keeping myself busy but happy.
My new handphone, this is one gadget that is going to keep me occupied for the next few hours.

My only complain?
My handphone does not come in red. I would love my accessories to be decked in different shades of red.
This handphone of mine is a boring hue of, ermm, grey/black.
Next step?
I gotta find a really pretty handphone pouch for my handphone.
