The manicurists engage Balinese form of hand massage. These ladies from Vietnam use firm strokes to massage me each time.
Once, when doing feet massage (comes free with pedicure), I was lulled to sleep.
It was really comfortable. Simply like it much. On my last visit, a gentleman, yes, a full blooded male, walked in and asked to be pedicured. So you see, personal grooming knows no gender-barrier... ...
... ...Curious, I went home and googled about hand reflexology and hand massages. The following article catches my attention.
No, the fingers you see in the photographs are not mine.

10 steps to better health
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.Pinch the tip of your fingers & thumbs. Do it for a few seconds each. Pressure applied should be firm, not painful.
2.Squeeze the sides of the fingers and thumbs. A little discomfort is okay.
3.Rub vigorously the top and bottom of each finger and thumb.
4.Next, rub the sides too.
5.Grasp each finger and thumb at its base. Tug firmly. Allow your grip to loosen slightly, graduating it from the base to the finger tip until your finger slips out of your grasp completely.
6.Grasp the webbed area. Tug at the skin gently until the fleshy web snaps away from your grasp. Repeat this process for the webbed-tween areas on all your fingers.
9.Massage the palm of your hand with your thumb. Alternately you can use your knuckle to massage the fleshier mound areas more deeply.
