One award is not enough

After the post "one winner is not enough" (June 2008) was published, I cant help but noticed fierce competitions evolving, each outstanding enough to be ranked first prize.

And after much considerations,
the following awards go out to...


1) Best place to hold your breath and withhold the 'excitement' of ascending an escalator
Winner: Orchard Central
The escalators go up...up....and up.....

It is open air and it is free,
need I say more?

3) Best place to play hide-n-seek and get lost :)
Winner: Ion Orchard
Plenty of twists and turns and so many escalators to play up/down



4) Best place for commuters to play rapelling, 160m off the ground
Winner: Singapore Flyer (23 Dec 2008)

5) Best example of a guy to show that brains n brawns do not mix
Winner: Taufik Batisah
He sang the words wrongly of the National Anthem during F1 race (Sept 2009), in front of Singaporeans and the whole world



6) Best example of a gal to show that brains n beauty do mix
Winner: Ris Low

How else do you think you got the words 'Boomz'...
....and 'leopard prince'...?






7) Best place to test your patience in getting a parking lot, weekends
Winner: Harbour Front

8) Best neighbourhood school to groom a talent
Winner: Qifa Primary School

PSLE (national exams) aggregate of 290 wins those in 'branded' schools.
So you see, neighbourhood schools produce elites too.
