Itacho Sushi ( HK franchise )

Roasted wagyu beef 6.00

Salmon Belly sashimi 5.10

Tuna Belly 6.50

Lobster Mango 4.10

Raw scallop & avocado (spicy) 3.60

The 1st Itacho Sushi to open in Singapore. It has outlets in Hong Kong and Macau.

A surprise find here. The sushi and sashimi served here is extremely fresh. The portion of the fish is huge. It is best to stick to the 'Sushi' and 'Sashimi' category of the menu as other "creations" are not recommended. You use a pencil and mark against the items you want on a slip of paper and hand it to the waitress. Sushi is served in a single portion.

Green tea is served complimentary. Itacho does not serve water. When I asked for a cup of ice as my green tea was too hot, reply from the waitress was that it is the company's policy that no water and no ice cubes are to be served.

Walk-ins only. To reserve a table, each patron is required to spend minimun $50.

Food is not cheap. But for very fresh sushi and sashimi, it may be worth a try.
