Wagyu beef - generous portion
Premium pork - the ribeye cut
Bottom: dont-know-what-but-very-yummy sauce
One of the better shabu-shabu restaurants in Singapore. Its sister restaurant, Sho teppan, a DIY (teppanyaki and sukiyaki) is at ION, and I have since eaten and written a blog on it previously (Read: 18 April 2010). Weekdays set lunch at Shabuya Shabu Shabu are value for money. The wagyu beef set meal came with generous portions of wagyu beef. Set meal consists of wagyu beef, chicken, salad, rice or udon. Variety of set meals from $14.90 to $23.90 are available from Mondays to Fridays, 11.30am to 2.30pm.
Top up $2.00 to change chicken to premium pork - the ribeye cut.
There are 2 soup bases: shoyu and chicken stock.
Peanut sauce goes well with the meat. The other sauce is extremely good but I cannot remember its name.
Also available is
