Stand-alone cafe,
Between Boon Lay MRT and Jurong Point2
Tagline says "Wendy - you know when it is real".
So much has been reported when the 1st outlet opened at Lau Pa Sat, long queues snaked along the roadside as many queued to bite this famed burger, which was the here in the late 1980s (??), has withdrawn but has since made a comeback again.
foil-wrapped - keeps my burger hot.
Each order is prepared on the spot, hence the queue. Huge, and I mean Huge, juicy slab of 100% beef, very tender. Generous lettuce, not strips but whole piece, tomatoes, pickles, cheese, onions and mustard.
I ordered the 1/4 combo (with fries and regular drinks), costs $6.85.
Jurong Point is the only shopping mall in Singapore that houses both Carls Junior and Wendy's. I like Carl's junior for its famous fries with skin and burgers. Unfortunately, Carls junior, I think you lose out to Wendy's because you are too expensive. And move aside dear 'King', your burgers are no match to Miss Wendy. You too, 'Red hair Clown', you lose out. Haha.
Wendy, you score ^.^
With Wendy, there's no faking it.
LOL
