Tajimaya - Japanese Yakiniku

generous portions of Wagyu beef

A value for money set lunch, weekdays only. For about $20, you get generous portions of pork, beef, chicken OR seafood, and they are guaranteed fresh.
My order of the Wagyu beef set from this Japanese Yakiniku comes with either salmon sashimi or tempura, fresh vegetables, salad, rice and of course, wagyu beef.
Its sister restaurant, Shabuya Shabu Shabu (as well as Sho Teppan), has set lunches too and I have since blogged about it a few articles ago.
At Tajimaya, the Japanese Yakiniku restaurant, buffet lunch is available on Weekends and P.H. only, 11.30am - 4.00pm. At $38.90 each, enjoy premium Australia beef, assorted pork, chicken, salmon, sashimi, vegetables, rice, ice cream and drinks. Each customer is entitled to a complimentary plate of Wagyu beef and Kurobuta (black pig). Each customer is limited to 2 hours of 'feasting'.
Coincidentally, Mediacorp has recently launched a new TV program on buffet. Buffelicious, first aired on Tuesday, 1st June 2010, featuring Tajimaya. Video clipping of it can be viewed here
(1.02 minutes onwards).
Enjoy :)
Reservations is highly recommended, 3 days in advance.
