Have you seen live frogs jumping around?
Baby frogs, no bigger than 10-cent coins were the stars of today, that is, if you were with me.
Recess over, a container of live frogs caught by my customers from the pond was brought along. Unfortunately, butter fingers and 'ka-boom', water spilled. Rib bit...rib bit...before you know it, froggies become floor tiles. At least 10 live frogs were jumping towards my direction.
"How nice! Instant frog porridge for lunch."
I still manged to instruct everyone to zip their bags.
"And do not fight with me for "lunch"."
Laughters followed. Screams from the girls who could not stand the sight of the living things. They had climbed onto the chairs. I wish I could do the same. One girl even covered her mouth in attempt to hold back her screams.
I wanted to scream, but I guess nobody could hear me. Excited voices trying to catch the frogs drowned my squeaks instead. I tried to look cool, but discreetly stepped aside. Deep inside, I was petrified. I never like smiley living things, those type with one eye on either side of the face, slimy skin and smile broad enough to stretch from left to right. What a challenging task to keep cool (>____<) today. A very memorable 29th February for me, today I got frightened by baby frogs.
